Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to the woods we go!

hi ho hi ho, it's off to the woods we go....to plants trees on mountain tops severed so that companies could mine coal.
Tonight, we, myself, jesse, and other EKU students, are headed to Pike County to help plant trees at old mining sites to help create sustainability and a better environment!  I hope that my lack of a green thumb will not hinder my planting abilities! Pictures to follow!

Car rides are the best antidote!

Lately, I have had some of the best conversations while riding as a passenger in a car! I am so happy to have loving and caring people in my life! Thanks for the great convo's and listening!

Also, next week a few of us Successcorps members are going to Memphis for a MIHOW conference!  I am super excited because i have never been there and I get to spend more time with everyone! Here's to Memphis, the adventures, experience, and new memories!

The ever changing population

I found this today and it's quite interesting and it is also interactive.....  It is neat to see how certain events in each time period affected the population in the different states.

Nayeli playing!

As you can see, Nayeli is quite spoiled. The water fountain was a gift from my mom and the toy was a gift from Jesse's family! At the end of the video, you can see how excited she gets when someone throws something. She gets in her "doggy" stance and is very intrigued in the object you are throwing. I am hoping that she is done growing! We used to be able to hold her in our palm of our hand. Now, when you try, you hand over flows with her body. She is still a joy though! She is very cuddly and a ball of energy.
